Advantages of skimmer technology
- Technically simpler solution
- No overflow gutter necessary
- Less construction effort
In a skimmer pool, the polluted water is sucked in by the circulation pump through openings at the level of the water surface. The surface cleaner (skimmer) essentially consists of a suction opening with a variable weir and a sieve basket behind it to retain coarse impurities (leaves, etc.). The cleaned water returns to the pool through inflow nozzles.
There is also a connection option for the hose of a floor cleaning device in the skimmer. The required number of skimmers in a pool depends on the water surface and the circulation volume flow of the filter system.
